VW says most 2020 model-year VWs get next-generation Car-Net telematics and in-car Wi-Fi. Wireless phone charging is available. Nearly all VWs feature Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Monitoring (Front Assist), Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Traffic Alert. Trim structures simplified.
VW’s People First warranty is out. A four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty with two-year covered maintenance takes its place. The Beetle, Golf SportWagen and Alltrack are extinct.
