VW'S 2018 "PEOPLE FIRST" WARRANTY AD FEATURES VINTAGE VW BUS
Oct. 13: TV spots for VW's new warranty don't show its new cars. Instead, we see a 1960s-era Woodstock-like music festival where a split-window bus offers concert goers refuge from a storm. VW AXES THIRD-GEN SCIROCCO
Oct 13: VW announced it's not filling orders for the "Roc," its two-door hatchback coupe. In other words, it stopped building Sciroccos. Introduced in 2008, this revival of a storied name in VW sports coupes rolled on a fifth-gen Golf platform. It shared a factory with the Eos retractable hardtop. While VW hinted they'd build a fourth-generation Scirocco, the prospects currently look dim.
