VW Sets 2016 Beetle Convertible Denim Pricing
The Limited Edition Beetle Denium convertible’s production run is 2000 units. That figure is equally split between white and blue hue exteriors with tops that look like dark denim. Powered by gas 1.8-liter turbocharged TSI engines mated to six-speed automatic transmissions, interiors feature light-denim colored seating surfaces with side pockets.
MSRP: $25,995 plus $850 destination fee.

With an array of drive assistance features such as forward collision warning with autonomous braking, 17-inch alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof, the asking price is $24,995 plus $850 destination. Its gas 1.8-liter 170-hp turbocharged engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

VWoA’s February Sales Slide, Audi Posts Modest Gain
One bright spot in VW’s American sales numbers: the Tiguan compact crossover. It posted a 78.4% gain at 3,245 units. Those numbers are only 400 units less than the entire Golf family. Sales for VW’s lineup during February were down 13.85%. Big losers: Beetle down 42.8%; Passat off 36.8% and the Golf sunk 49.2%. Despite the overall sales decrease, VWoA’s COO Mark McNabb says he’s encouraged by showroom activity. VW sold 22,321 units in the U.S. during Feb.
Audi posted its best February sales in the brand’s U.S. history: 11,718 a 2.3% increase. This marks 62 months of sales gains in the U.S. The new Q7 luxury three-row crossover posted a 63.3% increase at 1,653 units. The Q5 is the brand’s best-selling model (2,421). Its A3 is the best-selling sedan (2,183).
